Jobs Posted Online Dipped Slightly In April

There were 124,000 fewer job vacancies posted online in April than in March, the first dip since 2010, according to research organization The Conference Board Inc.
The 4.3 million jobs posted online in April still beat February's 4.2 million online job ads and far exceeded November's 3.7 million jobs posted online.

Plant-Zone Map a Boon to Growers

The U.S. Department of Agriculture released a new map of the nation's growing zones Wednesday that confirms what many gardeners and farmers already know: Winters are warmer.

Sunday, January 29th, 2012A mainly desert territory in north-west Africa, Western Sahara is the subject of a decades-long dispute between Morocco and the Algerian-backed Polisario Front.
In October 1975 the International Court of Justice rejected territorial claims by Morocco and Mauritania. The court recognised the Saharawis' right to self-determination and Spain agreed to organise a referendum.
The peace plan provided for a transition period, leading to a referendum in January 1992. Western Saharans would choose between independence and integration with Morocco.
